suspension is the new escape

This is the 4th of 5 suspension days I'll be serving. I did not bother to blog about first three because they were suspension days served wisely. Yeah, like the third one, it was used during my Marc Ecko shoot at the FHM 100 sexiest. This is the first time I'm suspended and left with really nothing to do but to savor all the minutes that will pass by. If you are wondering why I got suspended, It's by committing multiple instances of excessive tardiness. Ano magagawa ko?... sarap matulog eh. Tao lang ako.

Earlier, I was able to get a cool shirt at Robinson's Galleria.

disco sucks, narcissism rules!

Actually I got 3 other shirts but I'll just show you guys this one. It may not be obvious in the photo, but the print is actually covered with shiny shimmering glitters. Hehe, my first shirt with glitters.

I also created a new list on the right hand side of this blog. Its the "Latest LSS" list and it links to the song so you can have the chance to listen to it at radioblogclub.com.

Hay... what to do... what to do... a ha! sleep.

Godsmack

While scouting for a fast and heavy music for our video project, I stumbled upon this awesome exhibition between Sully Erna and Shannon Larkin of Godsmack. Man, even if you are not a fan, you gotta respect their skills:

FHM 100 Sexiest Women

To all those who knew that I'd be shooting at FHM's 100 Sexiest Women event and expecting photos from it, sad to say that I have zero photos for you guys. Yes zero, wala, nada. Hahaha. I can just imagine how your face transitions from excitement to devastation. Anyways, the reason is... I stayed at the Marc Ecko booth all night. I had to shoot dem males together with the scorching hot Marc Ecko models. When I can finally shoot the FHM babaes, those same males already gangbanged every space left that they can find in front of the stage. But wait, think of it this way, you can still see the event photos in the next issue of FHM and on their website... but what I'm gonna show will never be seen elsewhere but here. Hah!

Lets proceed then.

This is the Marc Ecko Red and Marc Ecko Unltd photobooth.

The Marc Ecko Unltd rhino up close.

err... the red team...

...with me.

the white team...

...with me.

Now there are six of them.

Trish in the middle.

All together now.

group hug. the end.
To Kristal: You wished me to have a good time tonight, does this look fun or what?
To Jean: Nothing compares 2 U (you can stop smacking my head now... hehe)

bad news, when it rains it pours

It's definitely not a good day for a web munkee like me who is highly dependent on the internet for inspiration, work and inspiration for work.

Bad news no.1
No more free internet radio starting on July 15, 2007. With the new royalty rates, with increase starting from 300% to 1200%, internet radio service providers lke real, mtv and the one i'm fond of, Yahoo LAUNCHCast have no choice but to stop it's free service and have it available for premium subscribers only (which rougly sums to 3% of the population). What does this mean? Internet music dies on July 15... Great artists were introduced to me through this medium and now they're gonna kill it? WTF were they thinking?

If you are a friend of music, show your support. Do not let them take away our music.

Bad news no.2
One of my favorite photographer is facing a 100,000$ lawsuit against an empire he previously worked for. I am talking about Philip Warner of Lithium Picnic vs Suicide Girls. If you haven't seen his works then I'm sad to say that he had to put his entire site down until this crisis is over. It's such a shame that a big company like Suicide Girl would pick on a single man just because they felt that this man's skills are a threat. He even had to sell his photo gears to put up with this as we all know lawsuits take a lot of time and money. You may still be able to find some of his masterpieces through Google but this barely justify the "awesomeness" of his collections. This news is terribly awful.

Going back to art

Luke Chueh's art is awesome. He mixes cuteness with macabre. Jean showed me this and mentioned she have drawn a bear similar to luke chueh's 5 years ago.

Me likes this one

Jean likes how sad the deer is drawn here.

She wanted to go back on doing artsy stuff again. I think she got skills the only thing is, she have little energy left after work. I hope she finds time and the energy for this as, I know, this is like therapy for her. I managed to find one of her earlier drawings.

I think this piece is nice.
