The past few weeks must have been my busiest so far. Aside from my night job, I have to do 3 consecutive photo shoot for 3 different jobs:

What: Photo shoot for START magazine
When: Saturday 5/19/07
Where: Sunnymede Bldg. Q. Ave. QC

START magazine is an annual/semi-annual lifestyle magazine funded by SYKES Asia. This publication circulates around the major colleges and universities in Metro Manila. We have to do this shoot with little planning and no production team whatsoever to meet the deadline. Everything was rushed, so quality suffered. Cleo and I were not happy with our shoot.

Nikki, one of the writers, brought his cute 7 yr. old daughter at the shoot. She entertained herself by putting on makeup in just 4 steps.

What: Skechers Flagship Store Launch
When: Sunday 5/20/07
Where: Trinoma, Q.C.

H and I were commissioned to cover the opening of the first Skechers store in the Philippines. A mini-concert was also held in the Trinoma Activity Center to promote the store. We split-up and I ended up shooting the concert while H manned the events at the actual store.

What: Manila Gold Makeover Fashion Shoot
When: Monday 5/21/07
Where: 43rd Floor and Roof deck, OSMA Bldg. Pasig City

I was not told that this will be a full-blown fashion shoot with a production team consisting of Sher the stylist and Marge the make-up artist. Dugs asked me to help him out. I thought this will be just a regular, ID type kind of shoot, so I just brought my ever reliable Strobist setup. Honestly, I was just in it for the food. hehe. PG mode amf.

The idea of this event is to show a before and after photo of the "makeover" done to a regular male and female employee. The shoot was tiring but fun actually. May libre pang Starbuko after.
