Met up with Alcy and Jasper at Starbucks West Ave. Still a bit groggy from a 4 hour sleep.

Met up with the rest of the crew, Ace and Anna, at Bellini's, Cubao X. We had four cheese and Bellini's special pizza, ravioli and spaghetti (supposed to be penne) with meat sauce for dinner. Sarrrappp.

11:15 pm

Arrived at Saguijo. Before that we went to Purple Haze to check the line-up. It was an emocore night but no one is up for it. I wish I was able to see at least Typecast perform. Anyway, it was Pinoy Soul Movement's anniversary that night at Saguijo. A lot of rock/funk/soul bands played including Radioactive Sago Project and Sino Sikat?.

It's already like 10+ times i've been there and still I haven't checked out the art gallery upstairs. Alcy and I were goin to check it out but it was already closed . Well, there is more interesting art in the bathroom anyway... hehe. I think I read somewhere that sometimes artists encounter a moment of epiphany while taking a dump. In addition, the principles of volume displacement was said to be discovered by Archimedes in a bathroom.... O ha!

Next stop was Tiananmen Bar and Restaurant along Makati Ave. Ace headed home to sleep, he's been awake for more than 24 hours already. We ordered white chicken noodle soup, 3 orders of siomai and 2 honey-cured pork siopao. Sarap nung siomai but its kinda pricey for a 3 pcs an order. Nothing beats the Hidalgo siomai at 6php a pop. hehe.

Jasper had to go back to his office. Earlier, while we are off to Purple Haze, he got a call from work about conflict with his work schedule. He needs to straighten things up first and it'll just take 10-20 mins. Below is a picture of me at their office, 40 mins after.

7 :00 am

Starbucks @ Leviste St.

As usual I had the tall signature hot choco. I suggested to go to starbucks @ Valero st but they do not like it there, simply because last time we were there, they were not able to smoke for 2 hours. haha. As a heavy smoker before, that 2 hours without smoking is a punishment. Anyways, I regretted to have ordered hot instead of iced choco, it was so hot and dry that morning. We had a lengthy conversation about road trips, pointlessness, the future and movies. Alcy wanted psycho-thriller movies, I recommend that she watch Hard Candy. Jasper likes movies with battles in them, well I said he should see Night watch. Anna likes love stories with tragic endings, hehe, I said go watch Shinobi.

After getting lost in Sampaloc, Manila. Jasper dropped me home. Took a bath, ate lunch, talked to Jean about the 80's music we grew up with, and slept whole sunday.

There is one thing I gotta say about this shoot... bittttiiinnn. So many possibilities so little time. Let's do this again! hehehe. It was indeed a fun collaboration with different talented artists. For makeup and styling we have Donna Santos, Jey Amurao for art direction and the "always-game-kahit-ano-kahit-saan" models: Trisha, Ehrian and Shiela.

It was almost a perfect run if this "little" incident did not happen. We thought somebody lost my radio trigger but it was just hiding in my bag all along. I found it out after I went home. Yan tuloy isa lang Canon shooter (galeng talaga ng Nikon CLS!). Sensya na guys, kaka-Ipod ko kasi eh. :))

I had the chance to watch the making of a new gloc 9 music vid. I never knew what or who will Jaime be shooting until i got to UP Bliss. He allowed me to document the whole shoot while I was there.

project stef

This was the last set of "project stef" modelslashfashion shoot. It was setup at the basketball court of Sambahayan Condominium in Mandaluyong. We initially planned on having this set at a basketball court, unfortunately it was too dark without the basketball court lights on so we decided to just do it at the bleachers. After Ivy prepped the model and after I setup the lights, the basketball court lights turned on. WTF??? We still went on with the current setup. Hell with those lights, we dont need 'em. We packed our own, strobist style.

Of course, this is the mandatory group-hug shot. From L-R, Ivy, Doogie, Me, Marlon, Stef, Kirby and Sonny. Cleo, Ivy, John and Herbert went home early so they were not included here. Sorry na lang sa inyo, kayo eh.

This was not possible without Marlon's cooperation. We crashed his house, he talked his way out with a complaining concerned resident and he guaranteed the safety throughout the shoot. Next time ulit!

If real men wear pink (sando) then real photographers use pink (barbie) camera? hehe. This kid is one of the tambays at Marlon's compound during our fashionslashmodel shoot with Stef. And yes, that is Kobe Bryant at the back. After he realized that I took a shot of him with his bad-ass camera, he left. Baket kaya sa tingin nyo?
